We collect data in the following situations:

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, for the purpose of sending you weekly recipe newsletters via Mailerlite. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, and message content, for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.
  • Analytics (after consent): anonymised page view data via Google Analytics 4. Analytics are only loaded after you accept the cookie consent banner.

  • Newsletter: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
  • Contact enquiries: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
  • Analytics: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

4. Third-party processors

  • Mailerlite — newsletter delivery (EU data centres)
  • Google Analytics 4 — site analytics (only after consent)
  • Cloudflare Pages — website hosting and CDN

5. Google Fonts

We load fonts from Google Fonts. This may send your IP address to Google servers. We aim to self-host fonts to avoid this and will update this policy when complete.

6. Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner to control which cookies are set. Essential cookies (e.g., your consent preference stored in localStorage) are always set. Analytics cookies are only set after your explicit consent.

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows Google's default retention settings.
